Rashonda was a woman of many gifts and aspirations. While her dream was to become a Radiologic Technologist, fashion was where her creativity, confidence, and vibrant personality shone. Whether she was pursuing a career in healthcare or expressing her creativity through fashion, Rashonda approached every dream with determination, confidence, and authenticity. As a model, she embraced every opportunity to express herself and inspire others through her unique sense of style and presence.
To honor every part of Rashonda's legacy, the Foundation awards scholarships to deserving students pursuing careers in radiologic technology and fashion. By investing in both fields, we celebrate the dreams she pursued and the passions that made her who she was.
More Than One Passion
Rashonda dreamed of becoming a Radiologic Technologist and worked diligently toward that goal. During her studies, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Even while undergoing treatment, she remained determined to continue learning and earned her Notary Public certification, demonstrating the resilience, perseverance, and unwavering spirit that defined her life.
Although she was unable to complete her radiologic technology education, her dream lives on through the Rashonda Bacon Legacy Foundation. In her honor, we provide scholarships that help future radiologic technology students pursue the career she passionately aspired to achieve.
